Today we’re bringing back a workout from last year.  If you did it last time, it’s not a bad idea to use the same scaling and kill your score.  (Compare to 12-3-12)

Also, this Saturday CrossFit Somerville will be doing an Invasion Benefit for the Red Cross to support their relief efforts in the Philippines. Class will run at its normal time and everyone is welcome to attend. If you’re not at your weekly limit, there is no fee (of course, your donation is welcome!) . If you have used up all of your classes but you to join, your $20 drop-in fee will go directly to the Red Cross. Invite your friends and family! Lets hang out, enjoy this awesome community and do our little bit to help out.

WOD:

AMRAP 8

1 KBS (2/1.5)
1 Thruster (95/55)
2 KBS
2 Thruster
3,3,4,4 etc until 8 minutes is up.  Score is last round finished plus extra reps done.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE UPDATE:  There will be no classes on 11/28 and 11/29.  If this causes you an issue with making all of your weekly classes, please let us know and we will do our best to make good of it.

    Volume: 2 pullups, the underhand grip felt weird and I could feel my grip going a little bit on my left hand.

    WOD: 8+14 Rx I’m a little upset with myself for not finishing that round, I couldn’t keep the bar up on the thrusters.

    VOL: 1 pull up (green band)

    WOD: 9 rds (55#, 1.25 pd)

    I would have loved this WOD more if I haven’t had such a long week all ready.

    Way to pood out 730.

    Volume training: 4 for 6 rds then 3 til end (chest to bar)

    WOD: 9 + 6 RX
    This really started hurting after round 6. Everyone went unbroken which was my goal.
