So hopefully we’re all starting to put together some goals for this year.  One very important thing to consider is how what we fuel ourselves affects our performance.  I recently came across an article that I feel simplifies this issue quite well while still addressing 99% of what most of us need to worry about.  So rather than reading a lengthy blog by yours truly, read this and learn:

STR:

Pushing Volume Training

EMOM 20

*finish each round with a 10 second superman hold.

WOD:

6 rounds
10 1-armed kettlebell C+J
10 TTB
Rest :40

* alternate arm each round

    Pushing Volume Training: 4 20″ pushups, seemed just right (ie, only started struggling through the fourth late in the EMOM).

    WOD: 12:33 with 3/4pd KB and kneeups

    7:30 brought it and worked it! Thanks for getting us through, JT!

    Clean and push press work

    WOD: 9:41ish? w/ 1pd and a mix of t2b and k2e. Real rusty on high rep toes to bar.
