Minimizing your down time

Our workouts are hard, fast and typically not very long. As short as they often are, they very rarely feel short. Conversely, most of the time the “breaks” we take during a workout generally feel very short. But are they really? Today, I challenge you to keep track of the time you spend not moving. This includes times walking from where you are doing burpees to where you left your rope. If you are not actively counting out reps, you are effectively resting. My guess is, for most of us, our perception of our rest time is much less than it actually is. So today’s challenge is to minimize our time not working. After all, the WOD is only 8 minutes long. Who has time for rest?
