The cubbies are empty!
As promised, we have emptied the cubbies! Feel free to use them during class this week, but we will be continuing to empty them out at night until next Tuesday (10/14) at which time the cubbies closest to the bookshelf will be designated for “long term” items – (a pair of shoes, a toiletries bag, etc) but please try to minimize what you leave here overnight so there is some room for everyone. The cubbies closest to the main room will remain “daily use” cubbies and will be emptied out every night. Water bottles and notebooks should go on the bookshelf. If you left something in a cubby, it’s probably by the front door…

Announcements and happenings:
We’re cleaning the cubbies! Please remove anything you have stored in any of the cubbies by Wednesday 10/8. All items left in a cubby will be put into the lost and found at that point. On Monday, 10/13, the cubbies closest to the main room will be for daily use (emptied every night) and the second set of cubbies with be for long term use. We ask that you limit the amount of space you use for long term storage to help allow enough room for everyone that needs it.
Wigglin’ with Nick will be happening this Saturday, 10/11 from 9-10. It will be an hour of mobility and movement exploration. This is a free class, it does not count towards your weekly total. No need to sign up, just show up!
We will be closed on Monday, October 13th for Indigenous People’s Day.
Hardcore Parkour! Constantly varied means being ready for anything. So whether you are bounding over desks in your office or dreaming of becoming an American Ninja Warrior, we’re here to help you achieve your wildest dreams! On Saturday, October 25th from 11:30am-1:30pm we will be hosting a Parkour Seminar at CrossFit Fenway! Parkour is the physical discipline of training to overcome any obstacle within one’s path by adapting one’s movements to the environment. We will have three professional Parkour instructors to lead a seminar. These guys really know their stuff and have worked with CrossFit Games athletes to help them learn the ways of Parkour. We will be capping the seminar at 30 people and it will be $50 to attend. Email Mandy if interested!

A single heavy, technical lift was an interesting stimulus. Toward the end I no-repped a few times by either failing or doing a full squat snatch but got them all above parallel eventually.
I did yesterday’s workout as far more in wheelhouse, posted there.
A note for others – don’t be like me and try to steal Rich’s shoes! Or any of the other stuff in the Lost & Found, at least until everyone’s had a chance to claim their stuff. Even if it IS a really nice water bottle (thanks for stopping me, Chris!).
To Lydia’s point, the stuff currently in the “Lost and Found” is neither lost nor found. It was removed from the cubbies for cleaning purposes and is not up for grabs until everyone has a chance to repopulate the cubbies on Monday. For now, the pile of stuff is not Lost and Found, it’s just a pile of everyone’s stuff, so please be courteous and do not take what is not yours.
Strength: 105#. May have been able to go higher.
Wod: 6:57 with 20 mountain climbers instead of TTB. My palm started ripping and bleeding on my very first snatch during strength today and TTB would have been a bad idea…
