Taking a friend along for the ride

There’s something special about a workout where one piece of equipment haunts, err… comes along with you through the whole workout.  Today, the medball will be a part of each piece of the WOD.  Weeee!

On anther fun note, our very own Babz Clough will be competing in the CrossFit Southie Showdown this weekend.  She’s been training hard for this for months and I’m really excited to see how she performs this weekend.  If you see her beforehand be sure to wish her luck and if you’d like to go cheer her on, details of the event can be found here.

This Saturday,11/8, I’ll be holding another “Wigglin’ with Nick” session from 9-10am.  This time through we’ll be spending a little more time on some myofascial release techniques (rolling, lax ball work, etc.), band work, partner stretches, and (of course) some movement exploration to help make the changes we make to ourselves last.
