This cycle has had us using the clock in some new ways.  We’ve been doing a lot of interval training in our strength work and continued to see interval work during the WOD.  Today, we have a large volume of work to do for each set of our strength work, so we’re leaving ample time in between to recover, adjust weight and keep mobile before getting in to our subsequent sets.  Our WOD has an interesting interval pattern, but we’ll keep you on track (we’ll write out when to do what) so you can focus on moving fast when it’s time to work and get the full experience of some different patterns of intervals.

STR:

3 sets:
4 Front Squats right into 8 Back Squats
On 4:00

WOD:

AMRAP 11:
1 Suicide sprint
5 Thruster (75/55)

1:00 on/:30 off

2:00 on/:30 off

3:00 on/:30 off

2:00 on/:30 off

1:00 on

STR: 4×6 FS @ 185# (avoiding back squats because of tweak on Monday)
WOD: 69 reps @ 65# (10# lighter than Rx to focus on keeping heels down. My form during 15.5 was shite.)

    Squats: 95lb

    WOD: 78 reps, Rx

GREAT TO SEE YOU BEN PC!!!

How do you get your picture to pop up Ben PC??

    Strength: 125#

WOD: 92 reps Rx – it’s amazing what a 10 pound difference feels like in thrusters.

I’m pretty sure what I did was go to gravatar.com, create an account, and upload a picture there. It’s this global avatar system thing—once upon a time maybe it was linked from the CFSV website?—and when you comment on the blog it recognizes you by your email address and pops in the picture.

Gravatar is indeed the way to do it. Once you have a Gravatar account, the web site picks it up and plugs in your profile for you when you post using that email address.

I have a LOT of updates that need to be made to the website. I’m working on it. 🙂
