Getting Out

Nick | 05/01/2015 | 1

Today we’re going to spend some time with various mobility and strength building progressions that will help produce transferrable gains to all of our pushing and pulling motions. If you feel like your shoulders hold you back in your wods, this is a great day to work on breaking out of that limitation!

Not only will the time pay off in results, but you’ll also walk away with a new set of stretches and supplemental strength work that you can pursue on your own to keep the gains coming! Getting strong is good; getting more mobile unlocks all of that strength.

The WOD? Simple. We’re just getting into spring and getting out of the door for some interval sprints. Pick up your feet and then pick up the bar- with good technique today this one will fire up your glutes and hams!

Wanna get out more? Don’t forget the Urban Ag work/party tonorrow (Saturday) after the WOD at 11! Come at 10 to work out,  and hang out after to play in the dirt!

STR:

Push/Pull Strength Work
-10 minute push with mobility (thoracic spine stretch)
-10 minute pull with mobility (lat stretch)

WOD:

6 Rounds on 1:30
5 BW Deadlift
Run to stop sign and back
ME Double Under
