Different angles
In another 5 weeks, we’ll be hitting this cycle’s benchmark again to see if we made progress. This progress can come from a number of different places, the main one (in my opinion) is consistency. Today however, we’ll be doing a WOD that will help us improve specific things that are directly related to it. We’ll be running, but the distance of each run will be a little longer giving us more time to settle in to our form and push our pace. We’ll be doing box jumps, only a little higher than we need for the benchmark to help the standard height feel more manageable. And we’ll be doing thrusters, which in general make wall balls feel much easier by comparison. So while you’re getting after the workout today, picture how the benchmark felt and how the movements translate.
