100
So often, it’s the simplest of tasks that can rev our engines the hardest. Today’s 100 swings isn’t a lot of volume, but coupled with a few burpees every minute (and with the incentive to finish those last few reps before you hit the next minute and need to get to the floor again) is sure to get you going. This is a shorty for sure, but guaranteed to get you to an intense place if you embrace it fully.
STR:
OHS
5-5-3-2-2 @2:00
WOD:
100 kettlebell swings (1.5/1)
EMOM 5 Burpees
Benchmark WOD Re-test:
6 Rounds
200m run
10 Wallball (20/14)
5 Burpee box jumps

STR: wrist got janky and I only got to set of 3 at 135#
WOD: 12:01, down from 13:03 (to be fair, I was coming off a break when I did the previous benchmark so I was sucking wind)
(Rx)
OHS: 105 for 2 (completed) failed at 115 – last time I OHSed was February 12th so this was definitely getting back into it.
WOD: 4:50 Rx
holy humidity!
OHS: feeling out wrist-dom. 35# bar focusing on locked out strong shoulders and full depth on squat
ReTest WOD – kind of a wash, but so many competing factors, i’m OK with this.
test #1 15:08 Rx. i remember there was some car dodging here. weather was pleasant.
test #2 15:52 Rx. out of the gym for 3 wks, wrist making wallballs suckier, humid as hell, no car delays, quads still mega-sore from friday’s FS
STR:
OHS 75#, PR. The shoulder exercises are helping with mobility.
WOD: @ 6:15, one wall ball short of doing it under 6 min.
75 Wallballs
EMOM 5 burpees
WOD: Retest 17:05 with agro box step ups and 10# wall ball, compared with the test at 17:01. Considering the humidity mentioned by Christine, the fact that it was lovely and cool when we did the test and so I expected much worse, and the fact that I’m still recovering from a 10 mile 4000+ footer mountain climb on Saturday? I will SO take it. Big thanks to Chris for helping me try to diagnose my psoas/SI issues!
