Staggered rhythm
We usually find some kind of rhythm as we work through a WOD. The nature of doing work for rounds provides a kind of natural flow. We’re going to try and break that up (and yes, confuse you perhaps a tad) with today’s WOD by repeating part of the round before we complete the whole thing. Take a look below and internalize the pattern so you’re not asking yourself (or your workout neighbor) where you are in the WOD.
STR:
snatch grip rack jerk (split or power)
WOD:
3 Rounds
1 wall climb
100m run
1 wall climb
100m run
12 Pistols
400m run

STR: 125#
WOD: 13:30 Rx
Nice job 6:30!
STR: 85#. Dropped 95# on my head (but really). Gotta work on snatch-width-grip things.
WOD: 13:26 w/ ring-assisted pistols
A+, 6:30!
STR: @ 95#. Felt good, probably could have done more.
WOD: 15:17. Pistols with 5lb plate under my heel and 5 lb dumbbell. Lowest counter weight yet, but still don’t feel like I can do a pistol without counter weight.
also my running was more like a leisurely jog.
