Stability allows movement to happen.  Without building our options and strength regarding our ability to stabilize, our movement options and patterns will be limited.  Our strength work today will address our ability to stabilize our bodies in a number of ways while asking us to be mobile elsewhere.  In fact, our ability to stabilize our bodies in a number of ways is necessary for us to be (and become more) mobile.  In other words, stability and mobility are intrinsically connected.  Keeping our focus on this today will help our strength work be maximally effective.
