Jumps, jumps, jumps galore! Today, we’ll be jumping out of our squats. This is often deceivingly difficult, even though we’re not measuring the jumps at all. It will certainly test our engagement at the bottom of our squat – if we’re not active, this can get tricky!

CrossFit Somerville has a small flock of laying chickens, a hive of bees, and space to grow vegetables in the back yard and on the roof.
We rely on a group of gym members who volunteer their time to care for the chickens and gardens, and reap the benefits of fresh eggs and vegetables throughout the whole summer.

I miscounted my deadlift, it was actually 245#. That makes it a PR.
