Big Rocks and Long Socks

CrossFitters wear long socks for rope climbs to help protect their legs from rope burn.

These people want to keep all of their skin intact.

Yeah, yeah. I know I said “dumbbells” yesterday, but today I really mean it. 🙂 We’re going to be picking up those big rocks today and throwing them overhead. On Monday we had some fairly light shoulder-to-overhead for 10 reps that really felt heavy as we got late in the rounds. This time the load will feel heavy early, but with a little practice and familiarity will actually start to feel a bit more manageable in the middle of this WOD.

Pushing in two different directions – up for the Shoulder-to-Overhead, and down for the Dips – obviously pairs well with Pulling, and Rope Climbs are a great way to have some fun and get some pulling done. Just remember to wear your long socks today!

Strength: Deadlift x5

AMRAP 15
10 DB S2OH (45/35)
