Y’all knew she was coming round sooner or later.  We’ve been running for months now – I’m a little suprised we waited so long.  A classic combo, testing a basic fundamental human movement (running) alongside what can feel like one of the most awkward things we do here if we have any mobility or stability issues.  What better way to prep our shoulders for these overhead squats than some german hang work.  Get loose, get stable, and let’s get after it!

The Battle for Bosteros!

JP CrossFit, CrossFit Boston , and CrossFit Somerville are partnering to bring you the most fun community-building CrossFit event this side of the Narrow Sea! Behold—the Battle for Bosteros!

In this three-day event, teams of three will come together to complete WODs at each of the three gyms: Friday night at JPCF, Saturday at CrossFit Somerville, and Sunday morning at CrossFit Boston. After the competition is over, we’ll have a BBQ to celebrate Sunday afternoon!

But here’s the fun bit—your team of three will be made up of one person from each gym! You’ll be making new friends while WODing alongside old ones, celebrating functional fitness and the summer.
