Keeping it tight to get it overhead
Having an effective snatch is as much about getting the bar into the right position as it is to get the hips to drive it overhead. In fact, if we don’t get the bar from the floor to our hips in a good line, no matter how strong we are we’ll have a hard time getting the bar the rest of the way overhead. We’ll be getting a bunch of practice finding the positions of the first half of our snatch in our strength work today. Our WOD gives us the chance to put it to practice.
