#SquatGoals
Tis the holiday season officially, and while we don’t run any sales here for Black Friday or Cyber Monday or whatever else marketing comes up with… let it not be said that we’re not festive. (I’m sure the Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift xmas albums will be in heavy rotation in certain classes.)
We’re wrapping up the last strength cycle having seen some good gains on your deadlifts and pullups, and are going to keep it rolling on building the strength and skill you’ll need to RX the workouts for the CrossFit Open. It may seem early to be talking about the Open, but this isn’t like hanging wreaths in October. It’s never too early to work on getting your gymnastic movement crisp and your barbell movements cycling quickly.
To that end, we’re hitting the muscle-up transitions again today and continuing to build our strength in a false grip on the rings. In addition, we’ve got a short sharp shock to the system after your Thanksgiving weekend just to remind you that this is CrossFit – and it’s time to move fast.
We also did some work this weekend in the facility. If you’ve got local events you want to promote, or want to promote your own business, we’ve got a handy corkboard up by the front door now. And I’m sure you’ll notice the new board behind the squat racks where you can write up your accomplishments and set targets. After all, you’ve gotta put together a wish list if you’re gonna get what you want.
And above all, we’re a community here… so we’re glad to help you get there. It’s not just your goals, it’s the #SquadGoals. Or #SquatGoals, as the case may be.
