A few weeks ago, we did a double WOD that looks very similar to what you see below.  The slight change we see today will give it a very different feel.  Now, the AMRAP is an EMOM and the EMOM is an AMRAP.  Our experience with this should help us choose weight we can finish with and give us a score to push past in the AMRAP.  (10.  The score is 10.  Get more than this)

Skill:

Handstands

WOD:

EMOM 10
5 Power snatch
5 OHS
5 tuck ups

-rest 5:00-

AMRAP 10

8 KBS (1.5/1)
8 Box Jumps (24/20)

    Str: still working on handstands.

WoD #1 EMOM: have a tough time finding the right weight given the challenges I have with OH squatting (relative to, say, power snatching). So settled at 55# — which was fine for the snatches but got housed on the squats.

WoD #2 AMRAP: 11 rounds even Rx

WOD1: @65#, substituted BackSquats for OHS. Still sucked it big time.

WOD2: 9+15. After about round 5 I was ready for the WOD to be over, that first WOD did me in.

WOD1: @65# back squats instead of OHS

    WOD2: 7 + 8. First time back in 3 weeks and it showed 🙁
