Open prep
As the CrossFit Open approaches, you’ll be seeing more and more Open WODs from past years. Today’s is a doozy. This was the first Open WOD that wasn’t time priority (i.e. it’s not and AMRAP) and therefor has an open ended “stop” time. There wqas also no scaling this year, so there were plenty of people that pushed hard to get through this at the Rx weight, some pushing into an hour+ of work.
We’re not looking to take it quite that far today (and hey, there’s a scaled division in the Open now), but that doesn’t mean that this won’t be a lot. Keep your thrusters crisp and find a sustainable rhythm early to survive this one!
