Welcome to Monday. You’re here. We’re here. And sometimes that’s victory enough – we all showed up.

There’s squats, and deadlifts, and burpees. Great. Do them, get stronger. We’ll all be better off if we’re strong.

Now, as to the other stuff? I hear 17.2 went great! Congratulations to the crew! I can’t tell you how I feel when I’m out all day in meetings and get the notification on my phone that our awesome members are crushing Bud Heavies after the workout. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there – but we all make choices (like Bud Heavies After A Workout) and then make our lives work.

And if you haven’t been to Open Gym on Sunday in a while, take it from me: it’s good for your soul. Great vibe and great people. It’s like a backyard barbecue but instead of bad burgers we’re sharing rowers and barbells. Really, it feels amazing. Being there today was almost enough consolation for me having to miss the 17.2 Open Workout with y’all.

After the weekend, life continues – and in my case, recharged from this great Sunday! It’s is another week, and our tasks are at hand. Let’s get after it!
