Interval WODs and a Charity Opportunity
Part of our mission here is helping you pursue your passions and achieve your goals – and it feels great to help you do it. Those goals aren’t just about pullups (though those are awesome, too), so when a member comes to us with a goal and an idea we’re happy to find ways to help them make it happen.
As an example, this Saturday (5/13) we are turning our Weekend WOD at 10am into a Charity WOD to help out member Eric Ehmann. Eric is part of Team in Training and is raising money to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. (This year Verizon will be matching every dollar raised at this event.) The money goes towards funding research portfolios, finding new cures, patient advocacy and patient support (which can be as small, yet important, as paying for parking for a parent visiting a child in a hospital receiving treatment).
So come on out, bring friends and family to join you, and lets throw down to help a good cause. Chip in whatever you like as a donation – all are welcome. We will be doing hero WOD “Kelly”, if you want a sneak preview. 😉 You can find out more and let Eric know you’re coming by signing up on the Facebook Event.
For today’s WOD, we’ve got a spicy set of intervals to get after. Run fast and get to your bar ASAP so that you have time to rack up reps on the Clean and Jerk. It’ll be good incentive for you to hustle it in and haul around some big weight – and then you’ll have a full minute to recover before going back out for another lap!

Coaching Schedule Note: Nick will be taking JT’s Tuesday evening classes to give me a bit more bandwidth, and we’ll be switching our Friday schedules – so that means Friday morning will be with Nick, and Friday night is now Magic Time with JT! I’m excited to get Nick back in the morning rotation one day a week to give the morning folks a chance to work with him, and I’ll still get time with both the morning and evening folks during the week as well. All changes should already be reflected in ZenPlanner.
