Framed
It’s not so much what happens to us as how we see choose to see what happens. Changing your framing of a situation can change how you feel about it. Any task can be a tedious chore or an exciting challenge. It can be inconceivable to contemplate or fascinating to examine. How we set our minds to what is in front of us is an important part of achieving greatness.
One of the most useful things we can learn from doing CrossFit is that we are more capable than we suspect. Seemingly insurmountable obstacles can be overcome with dedication and a willingness to be uncomfortable. The impossible is almost always within our reach.
We’ve got a really exciting challenge to start out our week. The middle of the WOD is a pretty picture on it’s own, but it’s got a nice frame surrounding it: a half-mile of running to start and end your workout. It’s the framing that really makes this workout something special. Get after it hard and try to push for a strong finish on that second 800m run!
