No matter where you are in terms of progress towards your goals, setting a plan and getting the resources lined up to advance your journey is key. Mel went to another training course last weekend to do just that. Nick has been up to his armpits in his Functional Pattern training for months now. Kirstie’s been working on being a coach for nearly the whole time I’ve known her – about 8 years now – and this week she’s going to be at a 3-day training course to work on improving her coaching skills. We tell you to do it because we know it works: Always Be Training! (Kirstie’s program this week means I’ll be covering classes in the morning and noon on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.)

For your training, we’ve got a great barbell and gymnastic combo that’s going to test your grip and emphasize fast barbell cycling. It’s all hip action, but the difference between the quick snap of a hang power snatch and the deep bend and explosion of a wallball shot should be a fun combo. Spice it up with rope climbs, and we’re looking at a roaring good time on Monday!

Wear your long socks, we want you getting up and down these ropes a LOT!
