Long and heavy

15 rounds sounds big, but these rounds are short.  So short that we’ll be able to push our loads and box heights to something a bit more challenging in the strength realm.

For the boxes, with only 5 reps we’ll definitely be trying to go higher than we usually do.  That might mean as little as the height added by an extra plate, or we might be flipping the whole box to a higher side.

With only 3 dips, we might find a more challenging scale appropriate.  And the single snatch to end each round won’t be a 1RM, but it will be a single, so we can definitely push the weight.  It should be heavy enough that if you don’t focus, you’ll miss.

WOD:

15 Rounds

5 box jumps (30/24)

3 Ring Dips

1 Snatch (135/95)

Awesome WOD and the just enough of each complimentary movement at a level of difficulty that taxed but allowed you to transition quickly.
