It was good to be back for Monday’s! Today was a tough-y! Evening classes did an amazing job on the strength work!

TOMORROW we have some more strength work! Get pumped!

STR:

Clean and Jerk

Clean and Jerk (125/85)

*2 Rope climbs between each set!

Today is GRIPPY! And a gut check of a work out! Kirstie and I tested this one out on Sunday. This one should take y’all 15-18 (20 on the longer side). The goal is to find a Clean and jerk weight that is heavy but easily cycle-able for 5-8 reps!

So we will be loading you up heavy for the strength work and then dialing it back for the wod! During class we’ll talk about a few different techniques for cycling. For the rope climbs I want everyone to work on using your hips and legs to get up the rope! The less pulls you take on the rope, the less grip you’ll use. Depend on your legs! Use your legs!

    WOD: 15:30 @ 85# started with full rope climbs but had to scale them down
