Power Snatch day
We’re working with short sets but many rounds and the load on the bar is going to be heavy enough to make you think, so we’ll be taking some time to tune up our power snatch before digging in to this one.
We’re still focused on developing that power position, not just for the landing but for its relevance to the hang position that we’ll pass through on the way up with the bar. Keep yourself tight. As you fatigue, your body will look for any place that it can “let go” to conserve energy. It will be up to you and your will power to keep connected. While it often feels like more work on the front end, it will keep things from falling apart as the WOD progesses.
WOD:
8 rounds
5 toes to bar
5 power snatch (115/80)
10 bar facing burpees

WoD: 17:57 @ 95#, a heavy enough weight that made me think.
Great work, Josh. Your TTB this morning were on fire!
