Thank You
Hey Team – I heard it was a great turn out for Murph this year, I heard there were many of you trying it for the first time, and I am so proud! I am sorry to have missed it. I was spending time with loved ones back home. Here is a quick message from JT:
“Thank you to the CrossFit Somerville community for coming out over 25 strong for Murph thing Memorial day to remember those who never got to take off the uniform.
It’s been 10 years and 12 Murphs for me so far. This year I did a 3/4 Murph to stay on time target, but I’m proud of it – and of each and every one of your efforts today.
In your honor, LT Murphy. ” -JTS
Josh dropped his Murph time in last Friday’s blog – feel free to do that or drop it here too!
In the mean time, this is what I got for y’all tomorrow:
For time:
1-10 Toes to Bar
10 – 1 Deadlifts (225/155)
For those morning humans, I will see you tomorrow bright and early to get after this one.
Technically, that’s not to work out for Tuesday, but looks like a fun one!
Morning classes (mostly) did:
Tabata L-sit and superman holds (I did knee tucks on the rings)
WoD: 15 min AMRAP
500M row
35 DU
35 sit ups
3 rounds + 533 Rx
Missed the L-sits (did some other stuff), but did finished with the WoD at the end: 3+390 Rx, the rowing helped stretch out the legs
WOD: 3+270 @ 15 DUs
Murph was 50:44 with 5-5-15-5 though sometimes I did 5-10-15
WOD: 3+450 @ 15DUs
