Congratulations to all of you on completing our last cycle. Between our test and re-test days, hopefully most of you got the chance to max out your strict press and back squat… and find out exactly how many burpees you can do in seven minutes.
We’ve got a short week this week, being CLOSED on July 4, but all the other days are business as usual. In the meantime, before we have a new test-and-retest cycle start, you’re going to get some of my handpicked artisanal programming that is specifically targeted at a few domains and skills. You can expect more running, more single-arm work, and more shoulder-and-midline stability emphasis, occasionally some weird new things… and as always, plenty of squatting. Of course the programming here is always a team effort among all your coaches though, so you can spread the thanks (or blame) around. 😀
Today’s pretty straightforward: barbells, legs, pushing, and running. The pushups will give your legs time to recover between the lunges and running, so one of the biggest challenges here might come at the start of round 2. You’ll need to control your breathing to make sure that you can engage the Cleans effectively after pushing hard on the first 400m Run.
WOD:
30-20-10
Hang Power Cleans (95/65)
Back Rack Lunge Steps (same)
Push-ups
* 400m RUN after each round
15:30 Rx
15:34 Rx
19:00 w/ 500m row.
Looking forward to the rest of the shade grown, small batch programming this week.

WOD: 17:59 @ BJ 24” instead of cleans (sensitive elbow); 85# lunges

Y’all morning people are speedy.
