Hey Gang!

Thanksgiving is fast approaching! I am heading out of town tomorrow, up to Rochester to visit my Grandma! To those of you who I didn’t see this evening, I wish y’all safe travels and a Happy Thanksgiving! I hope y’all are able to spend it with loved ones! One of the many things I am grateful for is you all – keep this in mind when I am yelling at you mid-WOD to move a little faster, it is because I care!

Alright on to tomorrows fitness! Here is what we got for ya:

7 Rounds For Time: 

10 Push Press (95/65)

10 Pistol Squats (5/leg)

Cash out:

double tabata

L-sit hang

HandStand Hold

 

Today’s wod is a burner! Try to keep those push press unbroken and quick. We’ll talk about rebounding in class. The pistol squats you’ll want to move steadily through- we’ll spend the bulk of class working on various scales if you can’t do them RX. Choose a scale that is challenging but won’t lead to failed reps.

The cash out today will be an alternating tabata between L-sit hang on the pull up bar and a handstand hold. The L-sit can be scaled to high knees and the handstands can be scaled to a high plank or a partial wall walk. The most important thing during this wod is to make sure your core stays very much during the Handstand hold, it’ll be super taxed from those L-sits! Have fun with this one, team, it is the unsexy work that has to be done!
