Giving thanks
We’re only open a half day today as we head into the holiday weekend. Wednesday noon will be the last class until Friday at noon, when we’ll be back to a normal schedule. (That’s not entirely true, Locomotion will still be happening at Lincoln Park Wednesday night…)
Today’s WOD is one you’re sure to be thankful for. What’s a “bag burpee”, you ask? You’ll have to come in to find out!

WoD: 12:18 Rx. A bag burpee is a little more work than simply a burpee where you jump over the bag.

I was imagining something way worse. Along the lines of you hold on to the sandbag the whole time, you drop on top of the bag and then jump up still holding the bag.
Nick – don’t get any ideas.
WOD: 12:22. I maintained 10 pull-ups, then they just vanished (poof), so I scaled down to jumping pull ups. The bag burpees were not so bad. But 10-1 workouts are just so hard and it takes so much time to get to round 5.
