Getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. That’s what it’s all about. The better we can adapt to certain situation, the stronger and fitter we become. On Monday you will get a taste of that, learning a movement that’s literally ‘half-assed’.

 

 

 

 

 

Skill/Strength: Pistols

WOD: 5 Rounds

15 Box Jumps

20 Overhead walking lunge steps

 

HOLIDAY HOURS: CrossFit Somerville will be CLOSED Saturday December 24th, Monday December 26th, and Monday January 2nd.

    I gotta say – reading this one gave me “I think I’ll skip Monday” dread, but I totally exceeded my personal expectations of the evening (I can’t do 2-legged squats without falling at least once, but I actually didn’t do too bad with the one-leggeds!), and I totally killed my PR from the last time this WOD came around.

    I <3 Crossfit! Way to make me feel successful in life on a Monday! 🙂

    I was shocked; i killed my old time too from less than a month ago. Finished in 7:36 w/ 45#. I didn’t feel like I was able to push myself as hard as I did the first time. Thought I had done high 7s last time, but it was 10:32.

    Completely surprised at the progress.

      niiiice! Nick you are a machine!! So badass! 😀

      My time was within 10 seconds of my last time, but I carried 10 more pounds than last month, and upgraded from the green stepstool to the real box. I guess next time it comes around I’ll keep the weight/height the same and see if I can get under 10. I think I was 13:something last night.
