Getting heavy overhead

It’s been a while since we’re maxed out our push press, so today’s a day to get a bit brutish and jump some heavy weight up over head.  While not as simple as a press, the push press is not super technical by any stretch of the imagination.  Just a bit of a jump and then pure guts will get you to PR this lift. em ta the bar and show it who’s boss.

STR:

Push Press
5-5-3-3-1-1-1

WOD:

3 rounds
400m run
30 double unders
20 box jumps (24/20)

This SATURDAY, JUNE 28TH we are very excited to announce our first annual 5k from CrossFit Fenway to  CrossFit Somerville. CFSV is almost exactly 3.14 miles away from CFF so we thought we would kick off the summer with an in-house 5k capped off with a BBQ with both communities. Anyone is welcome to feel free to bring friends. We will head out from CrossFit Fenway at 11:30am. See you all there!
