Last week we worked on stringing together push press so that we use the absorption of the bar back to the shoulders as the dip to drive the bar up for the next rep. Today’s WOD will give us the chance to practice it. Each time we pick up the bar, we’ll do as many reps as we can strung together. We can pause with the bar locked out overhead, but as soon as the bar comes to rest on the shoulders we’ll drop it and move on to double unders. Move quickly, but more importantly move smoothly. Being sloppy with this early will greatly increase the difficulty later on, even though we’re only looking at 8 minutes of work.
