Get comfortable
We know squatting is good for us. It comes up a lot here, and you can often tell a CrossFitter by their comfort and stability in the bottom of a squat. Overhead squat are particularly taxing on our mobility and stability in the way they translate into being able to hold good position. Getting more comfortable with this will be the goal today. We’ll be hitting doubles for our overhead squats with the added bonus of a three second pause at the bottom of both. This is generally harder at first than just moving through the bottom position, so take your time and don’t get frustrated by the weight. If we get more used to being there, our overhead squat ability will skyrocket.
