Last week we worked on building a platform for strength with our handstand pushups.  Today, we’ll have the chance to put it to work with the CrossFit girl “Diane”.  We’re going for speed with this today, so we’re not looking to pick the hardest scale we can, rather one that we can move with quickly and that won’t have us struggling to get single reps out.  We can also look to some of the kipping drills we’ve done in the past as a scale that helps us develop the use of the whole body to get the movement done easier.  Also, lots of deadlift today – the 7×2 should be heavy but not so maximal that we lose form.  We’ll need our low back intact for the WOD.
