Quick Transition

Brian Hack | 01/25/2012 | 2

This will be a good test to see how well we can scale for ourselves. Ideally, the weight we select for our barbell should be as such that allows us to move right into the push presses without dropping the bar between movements. Be honest with yourself and see what you can do!

Strength: Push Press 2-2-2-2-2-2

WOD:
5 rounds
3 power cleans (135#/95#)
5 push press
10 burpees

ANNOUNCEMENT Our first Skills Night will be held next Wednesday February 1st at 7pm. The regular 7pm class for that night will be cancelled. This will be an uncapped class so if you wish to attend please show up PROMPTLY at 7pm.

SKILL: Kipping

front squat (already having done a sh*t-ton on over head pressing this week):
185# (190×1), I think this is close to current pr.

WOD: 5:46 @ 115#…couldn’t quite catch Marco, even in absentia

my amount of time crossfitting over the last few days has been minimal, i was out of town this weekend and drop in fees add up quickly!! i’m glad i’m back though!

push press: 85#, but got 95# for 1. I did 90# for 3 or 4 recently, so I didn’t think 95 was going to be too much of a stretch. I wasn’t feeling right today though.

wod: 7:07 with 75#. That was MUCH more of a challenge at 75# than i was expecting!
