Overhead squats and crawling

Today we’ve got some overhead squats and a classic CrossFit Somerville style workout that includes crawling, jumping, and swinging.

Our overhead squats give us a chance to work on keeping our shoulders stable while supporting weight overhead. And our workout helps us get comfortable exploring movement on a more fundamental level. Both are valuable skills to develop so lets put some weight overhead and get our crawling and jumping game on!

25’ Reverse bear crawl

10 Russian kettle bell swings (2/1.5)

*Each round alternate bear crawl with crab walk

    STR: 155# (180 for 1… at this point it’s just down to pain tolerance in my wrist)
