Hanging out down low

A great setup in a snatch can be a hard thing to achieve.  It takes a good amount of coordination and stability in a position that takes a lot of mobility to get into in the first place.  Today’s snatch deadlift drill will help us work on just this.  We’ll be taking this lift just to the knee at first, making sure we’re able to be stable in that position for a few reps before we stand up the last rep.  Be patient with this one and prepare to struggle to find where you need to be a little.  It’s good for you, I promise.

STR:

Snatch Deadlift to KNEE
3 second hold last rep,
then open fully

4-4-4-4-4

WOD:

AMRAP 12
5 Deck Squats
5 Knees-to-Elbows
5 Kick to Handstand-Plus-Pushups
