Push ups and pull ups are staples of our movement patterning.  They are also quite expansive, allowing us to train things well beyond the standard version of these movements.  You’ll have the chance today to not only work on these elements in a non-WOD setting, but we’ll also look at some different variants that will help us develop more complex movements.  Did you struggle with the very idea of a bar muscle up last week?  Perhaps single bar dips are worth looking at for you.  Regardless of where you are, let’s find something that is going to get us to engage our bodies in a new way.

STR:

pullups/pushups (and/or push/pull variants)

WOD:

AMRAP 8
15 Box jumps (24/20)
25′ Box push
15 Dumbell Deadlift (60/45)
25′ Box push
