Re-test week!

This Friday we will be re-testing our power clean and 2k row. But before we do we have burpees and shoulder to overhead. Both are explosive and springy just like our power clean and rowing strokes.

CrossFit Medusa: We’re very sorry to hear that CrossFit Medusa in Porter Square is closing at the end of the month. Imagine how you’d feel if the box you love here was to go away! Finding a new home can be hard, but we hope some of them will like the way we do things and choose to continue their training with us.
We’re hosting a WOD for CF Medusa members this Sunday at 10am to come see the facility and get a feel for how we do things. (Open Gym will still be available for the usual CFSV Sunday crew.)
STR: Still stuck at 265# Need to work on keeping core tight.
WOD: 7:00 Rx. Should have moved faster. Dang Burpees are my choke point on speed.

My arms fried pretty early with the push presses, but this was the first time where I felt like I’ve reliably been able to catch the weight on my shoulders instead of my collarbone. Progress!
