Postive thoughts

The last couple weeks I’ve noticed many of our athletes making critical comments about the work they have done. I’ve been guilty of this myself, and noticing negative self talk is the first step to avoiding it. The work we do in the gym is hard and deserves to praised and acknowledged.

Additionally that negative self reflection can make someone else who had the same score as you feel pretty bad. So next time you find yourself saying things like “that didn’t count” or any other negative comments about your workout; just imagine what you would say to a good friend who just did that workout with you. Feel good about the work you do even if that work is just getting to the gym and moving.

**Last notes:

Our urban ag team is going to be planting and getting ready for summer this Saturday at 11am if you’d like to lend a hand.
