A tight middle
Today’s workout is on the longer side – a chance to put to use the practice of stringing together power cleans and continuing to use our hip drive explosively as we tire. While our bodies often seem to lose this as we fatigue, if we look for it and ask for it, explosive hips are there more than we think. If we’re lazy through our midline our mind won’t trust that the power from the hips won’t hurt us and the brain will engage a killswitch, greatly muting their power. Brace up and find your drive.
