Cleans and dips

We have full cleans (aka squat cleans) and dips in our workout today. These are two elements we haven’t worked with in awhile so today is a good chance to play with them again. If you are capable of catching the clean in a front squat do it. If you’re feeling apprehensive about it we can talk about scaling to power cleans.
For strength we have sumo deadlifts for a heavy double.

15 Lateral jumps
STR: 305#
WOD: 5+11 @ 95, toe assisted box dips
STR: 375#
WOD: 4+5 @ 95# and bar dips
STR: 255#
WOD: 5+13 @ 75# and bar dips.
Brian pointed out afterward that the rack for my dips was uneven. I guess one side got a better workout than the other.

WOD: 5+15 dips on the parakeets, 1 round of 85# sqt cleans and the rest st 95# derp.
A hahaha…. parakeet dips FTW!
