Welcome back to Snatch Day – can you tell we’re in a new cycle yet? We’ll be working the Hang Snatch, specifically working on getting under the bar with a nice deep catch. If you’re not in a place to catch low, maybe your coach will scale you to a Snatch Balance or even an Overhead Squat. If you’re still working on connecting the hips to the jump, maybe your coach will scale you to a Power Snatch. But if you’ve been with us for more than two months, you can count on your coach working with you to getchobutt down under this bar!

For the workout we’ll be gettin leggy – it’s all butt for the lunges, nicely weighted with some dumbbells in each hand a heavy plate. The box jumps are high, and intended to be a test of your explosive hip opening. This is CrossFit, after all.
