Thinking outside “The Box”

The overall approach at CFSV is to help you all move pain free, be healthy, and help you reach your personal goals. Challenging yourself outside your gym is fun to see how far you’ve progressed. One of the ways you can do this is competing in local competitions. Competing is a fun way to give your training a purpose and set time-sensitive goals.
This weekend Mel and I competed in The Southie Showdown. It is a two day CrossFit competition at Crossfit Southie. It was a ton of fun and with all the excitement in the air you might surprise yourself and exceed your performance goals. Mel was able to complete 32 pull ups! For those of you don’t know that’s 32 more than she had two weeks ago! GO MEL!
The moral of the story is competing is fun, you should try it. If you find a competition you are interested in let us know. 😀 I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
