Simple, but dirty
We have another 5×8 backsquat day for you; this time it’s sets across! Now that we have a feel for how much more 8 reps is than 5 (so much more), the goal is to hang at our max weight from our last time with this for all 5 sets!
We’re also flipping the WOD and strength again. WE recognize that the last few times we did that, the “warm-up” WOD let us feeling pretty beat before we got to the squats. Today, it’s just Annie – sit ups and double unders. Just enough to rev the engine a bit and remind us of our midline, leaving plenty in the tank for some massive squats.
