The Wheel Turns Slowly, But It Turns

Time rolls on and the seasons change – but the work continues. As the old saying goes: “Before enlightenment chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment chop wood, carry water.”

A lot of you have hit goals you had on the board at the start of the year already, and we’re excited for you! Getting that first pullup isn’t the end – just a step along your way. Each day brings another step. No matter where you are on your path, you’ll need to chop wood and carry water – and day after day you’ll both have a living and with persistence you’ll get stronger at the same time. Progress is the slow accumulation of all we do.

Get busy living. The choice you make to come in today and work on making your body and mind more resilient will pay off in ways you may not envision on a sunny morning when sleeping in seems easier.

We’re done with the CrossFit Open and hopefully putting the cold weather behind us for a few months, but the new season isn’t a call to passivity. Keep lifting, keep pulling, keep pushing, keep getting stronger. The world needs you at your best.

STRENGTH:
Deadlift
