What this WOD needs is more Barbell…

Cycling.  We’ll have another chance today to spend some time cleaning up how to “touch and go”, this time with clean and jerks.  We’ll use our “strength time” to work out the coordination necessary to string reps together and then get to apply the concept in the WOD.  To be clear, a big part of taking dedicated time to hone our strength work is to then be able to apply it to different scenarios.  It’s not about the heaviest thing you can move, but the heaviest thing you can move several times in context.  Suffice to say, once the bar starts moving today, keep it moving until the whole set is done.  That’s sure to impart the flavor we’re looking for!

WOD:

AMRAP 15

200m run

10 clean and jerks (95/65)

Rx is Touch aNd Go!
