A classic sandwich

Today, running will be our bread for a 21-15-9 sandwich. The WOD will start and end with an 800m run and the filling will be power snatches and burpees.  This is another good chance to practice connecting your reps with the bar today.  That means working on touch and go as well as an efficient decent to the bar.  We’ll have plenty of time to warm this up, so keep those elements in mind and you’ll make this sooo much smoother.

    I think I have a lot to learn from Kevin on workouts like this; I kept trying to string the snatches together, but needed a lot of recovery time between bursts and never really hit a good rhythm. Kevin went waaaaay faster by doing singles, but at a much more regular pace.
