kinda like this, only with one dumbbell…

We’re saving the barbell work for the WOD today and getting some strength work in with dumbbells instead.  Today, we’re taking advantage of the dumbell by doing our push presses single armed.  New challange + new adaptations.  If you’re a bit sticky overhead, this should allow you a little more leeway with your lock out.

The WOD looks like a pretty standard AMRAP couplet, but it has some bonus front squats every minute.  (I told you we’d get to the bar…)

10 DB snatch (50/35)

10 push ups

*EMOM 3 front squats (135/95) from the floor

    Str: 45# / 25#
    WoD: 6+2 (I think I got to 6 rounds…). 105# on the squats, which was a good challenge; 50# DB snatch; pushups.
